Dr Judith Samson-French, born and raised in Montreal, has established her two very successful animal-related businesses, a veterinary hospital and a canine centre, in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. University alumni three times, she pursued her interests in zoology, agriculture and veterinary medicine. From courses in aquaculture at Woods Hole, USA, to working at the Honolulu Zoo, and volunteering at various wildlife rehabilitation centers, writing a Master’s thesis on the ecology of bighorn sheep and working as a wildlife biologist, Dr Samson-French developed a deep commitment for the planet and its preservation. Her current ownership of a veterinary hospital allows her to surgically and medically help stray and injured animals. Her hospital main wall is graced with the following quote:
