Lotus Lines was initially created to market freshwater pearls jewellery from Yantze River Basin to help raise money. A portion of these monies would assist both injured wildlife and abandoned ill-treated pets to recover health and pursue life in a normal environment, free of abuse and where they could thrive. This was done in a spirit of compassion and reverence for life.

Unbeknownst to us, people reacted very positively to this endeavour, knowing an animal in need would directly benefit from the purchase of a luxury item.

Having decided to pursue trading further, some basic guidelines emerged:

To promote the development of natural products that are ecologically sustainable

To engage in business activities with communities of the world in economical and/or social need

To educate consumer groups about the products, their ecological viability, and create wonder for our planet

To redistribute a portion of the profit to non-profit organizations which promote the protection of our planet and its inhabitants.

Dr. Judith Samson-French and her husband Kim are co-founders and owners of Lotus Lines. Judith currently owns a Veterinary Hospital in the Canadian Foothills which allows her to surgically and medically help stray and injured animals.
